OK everybody - Just when you thought it was safe to go online....he's back! The Football GroundHog with his annual stupid question.

I want to generate my SuperBowl SportsBox grid after the games tonight but I need to know if the AFC or the NFC has home field advantage in the SuperBowl game. Any help would be appreciated (again)!

Very truly yours - TFBGH (the football ground hog)

The NFC is home team this year as the AFC (New England Patriots) were home team last year.

Put me down for the Steelers as well, their defense did a heck of a job on Baltimore and the rookie quarterback showed his lack of experience in these types of games. Baltimore gave them a run though and it was a great game.

On top of all that, I am in first place in the playoff pool, that is a rarity as well.

I'm also in first place in my Playoffs Pool by 6 points. Only 11 players in the pool, so it's not such a great feat. Using Java Junkie's Excel Playoffs Macros.

Steelers opened as a 6.5 point favorite.

Go Steelers!

Wow - You guys are good! I'm impressed.

I just logged in to 'pop' my annual question and there it was...the answer.

Good luck to everybody in all your Superbowl pools.

Since I don't plan on becoming any smarter over the next year, I'll talk to you all next year, same place, same time.
